  • Sr. Regina Ignatia Aflah

    Rev. Sr. Regina Ignatia Aflah is the Coordinator, Human Rights & Justice and Safeguarding Officer at Caritas Ghana with over sixteen years of progressive experience in Administration and Human Rights. Formerly served in the capacity as the Director at Bishop Bowers Foundation with a successful track record in leadership. She was a task-oriented Human Resource Manager at Catholic Hospital, Battor in the Volta Region of Ghana between 2010 and 2014 with diverse experience in general office management, handling of staff recruitment and promotion issues, compensation management, staff complaint and discipline.

    Sr. Regina Ignatia Aflah holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Human Rights Law, Post Graduate Diploma in Law and Development, Post Graduate Certificate in Public International Law, all from University of London, UK, Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Rwanda, Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Honours) in Information and Communication Technology from Ghana Institution of Management and Public Administration, Ghana, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Honours) Mountcrest University College, Ghana, Certificate in Computer Laboratory Management from Chestnut Hill College and Marywood University, USA, and Certificate in Conflict Analysis and Mediation from Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, Ghana. Sr. Regina is a Member of Rwanda Bar Association and the East African Bar Association.

  • Sarah Blakemore

    Sarah Blakemore is CEO of Keeping Children Safe Global, President and CEO of Keeping Children Safe USA. She leads a team to deliver capacity-strengthening and advocacy on child safeguarding, PSEAH and other abuses of power in over 120 countries, with a specific focus on context specific, culturally sensitive and survivor-centred approaches to safeguarding. She leads on policy, investigations and research strategies on issues relevant to safeguarding, such as leadership, culture and behaviour change, safeguarding and health including HIV and the current pandemic, safeguarding in conflict and crisis situations, safeguarding children with disabilities, LGBTI children, and children in alternative care. Sarah previously worked with International Campaign to Ban Landmines – Cluster Munition Coalition, End Water Poverty, Save the Children UK, Oxfam, and as a freelance journalist.

  • Wendy Cue

    Wendy Cue is the Senior Coordinator for prevention of and response to Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment at United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). She joined the Inter-Agency Standing Committee secretariat in January 2018. Previously, she was Head of OCHA’s Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean since July 2015.

    Ms. Cue has more than 20 years of international and UN experience in humanitarian affairs, human rights, and sustainable development. Her previous assignments include as Head of the OCHA Office in Nepal, Chief of the Emergency Preparedness Section, Coordinator for the Nepal Risk Reduction Consortium, Chief of the Joint UNEP/OCHA Environment Unit, Field Manager for the Pandemic Influenza Contingency, and Team Leader for human rights investigations in Rwanda and Haiti. Ms. Cue joined the UN human rights mission to Haiti in 1992. In 1997, she monitored human rights in Rwanda during the post-genocide years. She joined OCHA in 1999, reporting on the conflict and coup d’état in Guinea-Bissau. She has led UN emergency teams to coordinate initial response to the tsunami in Sri Lanka, floods in Pakistan, volcano eruption in Cabo Verde, and hurricane in Haiti. Ms. Cue has a degree in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College and a Masters in International Relations from the School of Advanced International Studies of the Johns Hopkins University.

    She brings field experience in Latin America, Asia, and Africa, and has lived on assignment in Haiti, Rwanda, Guinea-Bissau, Nepal and Panama. Between field assignments, Wendy is an avid runner and mountaineer, with expeditions in the Andes and the Himalaya. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

  • William Dauda

    William Peter Christian Dauda most recent role was the National Director of Caritas Sierra Leone. He has more than fourteen years of experience working with national and international non-governmental organizations in Sierra Leone, including World Vision international, Leonard Cheshire Disability International, Voluntary Services Overseas, CRS etc. William has a Master’s Degree in Peace and Development Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Sociology from the University of Sierra Leone. William is committed to working for a society free from poverty and injustice.

  • Khaleel Desai

    Khaleel is Mencap’s Executive Director of Governance and Company Secretary. He oversee Mencap’s subsidiaries, legal team and EDI team. He is also an advisor to the Trustees. Prior to that Khaleel was Head of Governance and Company Secretary at IRW. He sat on the Board of Directors and was an advisor to the Trustees. He set up a newly created Division within IRW which includes IRW’s legal team, internal audit function and our compliance and security group. He joined IRW from Save the Children International where he was a member of Legal and Compliance Team focusing on compliance and managing risk.

  • Rosanna Duncan

    Rosanna is Palladium's Chief Diversity Officer. This involves maximising the opportunities that can be realised by embracing diversity and inclusion (D&I) for people and the communities with which Palladium works, donors, clients and supply chain. Rosanna draws upon a 20+ year record of multi-sector achievement that includes embedding D&I contractor requirements into Europe’s largest infrastructure project, High Speed Rail (HS2) Ltd. Underpinning her experience are a PhD that explored the implementation of D&I within the construction process and she is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), as well as a significant body of research and internationally published work on a range of D&I related topics. Rosanna is also a member of UK Research & Innovation’s (UKRI) Equality, Diversity and Inclusion external advisory group, working to identify and prioritise areas to make the most progress on equality, diversity and inclusion and improve outcomes in this area.

  • Anita Osei Dankyi

    Anita Osei Dankyi has over 10 years of experience in human resources management across international profit and non-profit organizations. She has worked with organisations such as World Vision International, Kantar Group, Glo Telecommunications in West Africa and Unilever. During her time with World Vision International, she championed the adoption and implementation of the Misconduct Disclosure Scheme across the entire partnership working with relevant global, regional and national directors to ensure the Scheme's effective role out and implementation. Anita’s interest is to ensure that the young and vulnerable individuals in society are well protected and supported.

    Anita holds an MBA with a specialisation in International Trade, and is a certified HR practitioner with CIHRM and a degree in Sociology.

  • Peter Taylor

    Peter is Head of the Safeguarding Unit in the UK Government’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). He has held that role in FCDO and previously DFID (Department for International Development) since April 2018.

    The Safeguarding Unit focuses on tackling sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment within FCDO, the programmes FCDO funds and the wider international humanitarian and development sectors.

    Peter has studied and worked in multiple countries in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Central Asia. He has worked for civil society organisations, government and multilateral organisations. His roles have included a focus on humanitarian delivery, disaster risk reduction, basic service delivery, corporate services oversight, international financial institutions, programme management and capability building. His graduate and post-graduate studies focused on French, Spanish, Latin America and Political Science.

  • Tanya Wood

    Tanya Wood is the Director of the CHS Alliance, a network of more than 150 organizations committed to making aid work better for people, through the application of the Core Humanitarian Standard.

    She brings more than 20 years leadership experience in the humanitarian sector, in headquarter positions and more than a decade of humanitarian work based in Africa, Asia and the Americas.

    Her career has specifically focussed on leadership within international membership organisations, committed to the power of collaboration for creating change. This has included a career with the IFRC, ICVA and as CEO and Chair of two international health networks, prior to joining CHS Alliance in 2018.

    She studied at University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies, and holds a master’s in international development and an MBA.
